Design and Construction of Polystyrene Plant (capacity:6000 T/yr)
The technology and novel process design for this plant was performed
by HICECO process engineering team. This plant is able to produce 17
grades of polystyrene according to customer's request. Some kinds of
these products have been exported to foreign countries. (Location:
Garmsar, IRAN)

Design and Construction of Acrylonitril Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
Plant (capacity:4500 T/yr)
The process design of this plant based on suspension polymerization
was performed by HICECO process engineering team. This plant is
capable to produce different types of ABS with special engineering
applications. (Location: Garmsar, IRAN)

Design and Construction of Styrene monomer Pilot Plant using Ethyl
benzene dehydrogenation
A simple process with a novel type of dehydrogenation reactor was
designed by the HICECO process engineering team. Therefore a low
capacity pilot plant (1000 Kg/day) was designed and constructed in
order to produce styrene monomer.

Design engineering, construction and commissioning at all sections
of this plant such as dehydrogenating unit and distillation columns
for styrene purifying unit was successfully done by expert engineers
of this company. (Location: Tehran, IRAN)

Design and Construction of HIPS Demonstration Plant (capacity: 1500
T/yr)
NPC-RT (National Petrochemical Company Research and Technology
division) has decided to develop a new technology for production of
HIPS polymer with better mechanical properties in compare with
existing types of HIPS.
So a contract was signed by NPC-RT and HICECO for EPC of a new
demonstration plant for production of HIPS via a novel process based
on investigation results of specialists of HICECO. All of
engineering works consist of process conceptual design, basic and
detail engineering of this has been done by engineering team of this
company. (Location: Arak, IRAN)

Licensing and Engineering of GPPS Production Plant (capacity: 24000
T/yr)
HICECO patented a new type of poly-styrene with bimodal molecular
weight distribution. This type of poly-styrene with excellent
properties is considered to produce in large scale.
A contract was singed in order to design and construct an industrial
scale production of this type of poly-styrene under license of
HICECO. (Location: Qom, IRAN)
